I recently received a five stone cuff in cocobolo wood for our upcoming anniversary (my husband can't keep secrets :P), and I'm wondering whether I should keep it or order it in either the black or white version. Sorry I can't seem to find any images online except for those that are in the online catalog...

I just don't know whether I'll be able to wear the wood all year round... It seems so summery to me... Any opinions and/or thoughts???

I'm a bit unclear with your question. If your husband already bought it, are you saying you are having it returned and replaced with the white or black cuff?

I own a few Verdura cuffs and absolutely love them & wear them all year round, but it's not a style that everyone likes. Verdura has several pieces (bracelets, earrings, necklaces) that mix cocobolo wood with semi-precious & precious stones, personally I think it's a terrific look but again not for everyone.

The Verdura boutique in NY can also customize a cuff to fit your wrist.

Can you try to post a photo - maybe upload on photobucket?

I don't know why I hadn't thought of uploading an image earlier. Sorry!

Leah - Yes, I am considering returning this one and getting one in white or black instead. I am wondering if the wood is too summery or would be appropriate all year round?

La Comtesse - Yes, this is the five square cut stones. In this case, they are citrines.

ETA: I absolutely adore the style and am grateful for the gift (as I've wanted one recently), but I just don't know if I would wear wood in the fall/winter... Your cuff is beautiful btw, Leah!!

Very beautiful cuff Chocopie.

Personally, I would absolutely keep it because I think the cocobolo wood combination is much more unique than the black and white versions of the 5 stone cuff.
I wear a lot of neutrals in the brown family (beige, cream, dark brown etc) throughout the year so in my case, I would definitely be able to wear this all year round. I also feel the wood version is a little bit more "modern" than the black & white ones.

But wear what makes you truly happy. If you go for the white and black, those are beautiful too!

I found a photo below.

I think that the bracelet is stunning! IMO, you can wear the wood all year long. What a wonderful gift from DH:smile1:

Thank you Leah, risingsun!! My husband insists it was his favorite (and thus the gift). I guess I was tempted by the other options, but I think I will keep this one. I've been wearing it around the house. :)

Oh, Congratulations! It's gorgeous! I had seen the five stone cuff in a NM magazine, and had inquired about the other versions available. I never got a response from my SA and had forgotten about it until you posted this. The wood is absolutely stunning with the citrines. Happy Anniversary. Your DH has great taste!

skyqueen, Leah, lulilu, La Comtesse, etoupebirkin - Thank you all so much for the affirmative comments! You made my husband's day! :D

He hasn't failed to surprise me with a beautiful anniversary gift yet, so I guess this one's a winner too! :)

Thank you all, and I look forward to wearing it in the cooler weather~
