I have been to Venice and visited a Gucci store there 2015. I think I did not buy anything as I had just bought the baily bamboo top handle from Florence the previous week. I think they have two stores there and at least the one I visited had a large range of bags available. It can be tricky to find places in Venice, at least if you have not been there before. Easy to get lost but luckily it does not matter, as getting lost in Venice is really one of the best things if you are not in a hurry because everything looks like this :amuse:

One Gucci store is a short walk from the saint Marco square.

Yes I read there are 2 stores. What a beautiful photo! How cool you brought a bag home from Florence. As summer is winding down here in the US, I'm dreaming/planning a vacation. Gucci in Italy is on my bucket list! Venice for sure!

Actually I have two Gucci bags from Florence as my new bamboo classic bag is also from there, the same store actually! They have great service. When I was last there the sales person gave me her card so I could contact them in case they would have a bag in stock that was no longer available in their website for shipment to Finland.

I am sure you will love Venice.

I am going to Italy in september, and I just noticed that there is no Gucci store in any of the places I have planned to visit at the Amalfi coast. The closest one is in Naples that we really just planned to drive through.
I am actually a bit shoked to notice that there is not Gucci store even in Positano or Capri. Has anyone been to the Amalfi coast or Capri and could advice where to go shopping for Gucci? Or other premium brands? I can not spend all my money on Apelor Spritz and wine :amazed:

Sounds like great trip! Heard amalfi coast is breathtaking. My plans may have changed because I had wanted to go in August to Italy but many peeps told me Venice too hot then. Plus glass blowing factories not opened for tours which I'd like to see. I must go and bring home Gucci though!
Wud think u cud buy Gucci someplace. Someone on here must know where u cud shop

I think Italy is just top hot for me in the summer. I usually go there in fall or spring, when it is nice and warm but not too hot. If you go to Venice I could recommend checking out Florence too, it is a short train ride from Florence to Venice. Trains is a good transportation option in notrhern Italy. Most people visit Venice as day tourists but that is the worst kind of plan in my opinion. During tourist season days the entire city is just packed with tourists, but the evenings and after 16.00 are very nice when all the day tourists have left. You should at least soend a few nights there to get the most out of it. Murano island with thw glass factories is very beautifyl and interseting- but many smalla shops just sell chinese glass that has nothing to do with Murano. Venini (thwy have the good stuff) has very nice shops in Venice and Murano and even if you are not buying it is worth to check out their beautifull collection. Also there is a very good glass museum in Murano that was not at all crowded when we visited.
