Velvet or leather marmont bag

So I've been wanting to buy a marmont bag for a really long time and I went to the store today originally wanting to buy the leather but I also saw the velvet in dark purple and fell in love [emoji7]

The velvet is gorgeous but won't stay pristine and that would make me sad. Leather is the safer choice. I wish they made that color in leather.

I like velvet for the colored bags, but for staple colors like black I prefer leather.

They did make one in purple leather. Only available US though.
