Hi all,

So I've been thinking about getting a Velo for a while (this will be my first Bal).

I thought I had gotten reasonably educated about hardware choices, but I'm finding myself confused.

I've looked at Velos in black with the following HW configurations:

1) Classic HW (bronze)
2) Gold G12
3) Silver G12

Is there such a thing (now or in the past) as a Velo with classic size/style HW, but instead of bronze, it is silver or gold?? I think there might be, from seeing some pictures online that look like this, but it's unclear if those might have just been holiday (chevre) bags??

Hi!

I don't think the average velo will come in classic size hardware in silver or gold color.

I believe the bags with different kinds of leather/fabric used or a special edition/seasonal bag
have come in different colored classic hardware.
I know the suede bags have classic size hardware in a silver tone with the tassels.

Velo is an excellent choice, definitely in my top 2 styles (along with the day).

Really? Even though they said all the bags from their website are 100% authentic or money back!!


How can you tell it is not authentic?
