Time again for the biannual Vegas Jewelry show at the Mirage.
March 15-18 9:30 to 5PM
Show for wholesalers to sell to retailers.
Will sell to individuals.
Just need a business card or show pass to attend.

I have no connection to this event except I've gotten some really good deals here.
Take cash if possible.

They have about everything you can imagine. You can buy 'cheap' any kind of stone necklaces to 20 ct diamonds. New & vintage/estate pieces. Watches, jade, pearls, semiprecious stones, etc. Diamond district people from both NYC & LA.

They split it into sections so if you are a 'Claires' buyer, you can just go to one section to find what you need. (I bought one necklace of coral or polished marble, whatever. So they didn't force me to buy 10 of one kind.) But I have cash with me, which motivates some.
If you own a high end independent jewelry store looking for items for your store, the high end stuff is grouped together. Making it easy to navigate & not waste time. The conference area is HUGE so being focused still can tire you out. I was on vacation last year both times so I don't know how the tradeshow is selling out in tough times.

All the new jewelry related products, like the clasp helper, are usually featured here.

If you are in town, its worth going to once. Take paper & pen so that you can take notes on what you see & shop & compare.

There is another one in August or September! they have these twice a year. They also have a GEM show but somehow we are always out of town.
I'll let you know the exact date after I hit this show next week.

Someone at work told me about this show. His wife usually goes. I asked him, but he couldn't tell me...do they have branded diamonds like Hearts on Fire?

Good question. I don't know. I'lll bet you could make a contact here that could try to find you one. Or they could find you a H&A.

You can buy grey market items here. I bought a new very high end brand watch at this show with all papers & box - 75% off! Recently took it to the retail store in Vegas for a new battery & cleaning. Had no problems with the store claiming I hadn't purchased it at the right location. Was treated as if I bought it there. I'll never buy a watch at retail again.
