Vegas in April, what to wear?

Fiance and I are going to Vegas with another couple in early April:yahoo: Never been there, and I'm stoked! So what kinds of clothes should I bring; how's the weather generally that time of year? We'll probably hit up a show or two, definately the casinos, probably do some bar hopping but not of the dance club type (others aren't dance club type people), hopefully a nice dinner of some sort.

Initial thoughts are to pick up a sequin racerback tank, because they seem fun and I'll probably not have another reasonable chance to wear one before the trend is over. Maybe a corset top from Charlotte Russe with jeans (bootcut or straight?) and heels (I have a pair of pony hair leopard Manolos). And that's about all I have for ideas. Any other suggestions?

I will be going to Apr 9-12, when are you going? Definitely bring nice dresses for going out at night and comfy high heels. Weather should be fine, it is still April so maybe around the 70-80s. I will bring comfy sandals and cotton dresses to wear during the day.

Same days, April 9-12! We're staying at the Golden Nugget, where are you staying? I was originally thinking nice jeans and blouses for daytime, but if it's around those temps, sundresses are probably a better idea.

sundress for the day. bathing suit if you want to hit up the pool. hot dresses and heels for the night time. remember comfy shoes! you walk a lot in Vegas. the casinos are quite big, and just walking around in the property can be a lot of walking :P.

Wow! We'll be staying at the Westin, just along Flamingo. We'll be showing my SIL around so lots of walking for sure during the day so I'll bring comfy sandals/flats too.

Yea, the summers are scorching but the winter is freezing, and the cold stays through Spring. I wish it was over with already.

You cannot go out in Vegas without a super hot dress! Just think, ever other girl is bringing her A game, you should too. In fact, I'm wearing a strapless number for Saturday, just for dinner with the hubby. :tup:

I guess everyone's body temp is different. I've been in Vegas since I was 6, my SO was born here, and we both agree its pretty hot in April. ESPECIALLY if you are coming from a cold climate!

It says around April 12th it will be upper 70's-80's. Light jacket at night is a good idea, but IMO its not really that cold at night. It might drop down to the low 60's.

i went last yr in mid april .. at night is a bit chilly... wear a light cardigan. otherwise if it's sunny it should be quite warm unless ur NOT in the shade (i remember I was cold). i hate being cold so some might differ!
