VCA vs Waskoll for everyday necklace

Hi all! I am thinking of getting an everyday necklace and I am stuck between the 2 below VCA Alhambra and Waskoll. I think they are both beautiful but special in their own way. VCA is more iconic but Waskoll might be more unique. There isn’t a huge price difference between the 2. Any opinions on which yous think is best? Thanks!

These are both absolutely beautiful! I’m actually surprised I voted for VCA because I typically like things that are more unique and less ubiquitous. And the Waskoll is gorgeous - thanks for introducing me to this brand! But it just seems a bit formal for everyday wear, imho. I could see it with an evening dress but not just casual wear. I think it’s the pave on the yellow petals. That said, if you dress more sophisticated on a daily basis it would suit. But the VCA can go from t-shirts to formal wear.

I prefer the look of the pave Alhambra. I’m not usually drawn to gold pieces with a lot of negative space. Personal preference.

Never heard of waskoll but that's a beautiful pendant! Tough choice but I choose the waskoll

I’ve not heard of Waskoll but this design is pretty too.
I would think everyday necklace I’ll vote the vca. As for Waskoll, I would imagine it will look very special if made in earrings!
Though they may not be matchy-matchy if worn together with the VCA necklace

Waskoll is more edgy ( as far as a yg and diamond piece can be edgy)

VCA is more demure, feminine, classic. In comparison to the Waskoll, the VCA might even be relatively conservative.

I would try both on; take full length pics with both; and then decide based on your gut feelings (which might take into account diverse factors like your style; shape of face and figure; length of neck and chain; your occupation; work environment; where you live; etc. For the Waskoll, the visual might be very different if worn against bare skin bc of thr negative space

Also, try to figure out, would you be happy with this a year from now; five years from now. If you are really unsure, perhaps neither is the right one? But, if you make a mistake, you may be able to recoup the money spent by rehoming the VCA

By the way, trying both on is not just a visual thing. It’s also a question of whether you like the way something feels; does it move or stay in place, etc. I did not vote, but I agree with @EpiFanatic above re not favoring a piece with this much negative space. Like @Purrsey , I also think the Waskoll reminds me of an earring. But, the VCA vintage size pendant is a bit small for my taste, and I do find that jewelry does shrink as one gets older.

Wow! The Waskoll is super interesting! They are very different, though. I think you'll know immediately once you try them both on.

While I love VCA lately everyone I'm bumping into seems to be wearing the same vintage pendant, just in different colors. It feels almost like a uniform. The bank teller, hotel waiter, receptionist, etc.

I mean it's popular for a reason, but I reach for mine a bit less these days. Still love the design, don't love the idea everyone recognizes what I'm wearing. Depends where you live!
