So does anyone actually know what the "warranty" covers? They just called me with an estimate of $180 usd to replace a small tiny piece that connects my necklace. I was a bit thrown off by the price quoted since it is such a small repair, i was even hoping it would have been covered and repaired for free since I've had it less than a year old. The man even was a bit rude and insisted i was lying when i said i included the broken piece with the necklace and he said they would have to make a whole new one, but i know for a fact i put the small piece in the bag with my necklace and just asked him to repair that but he said its not there. They should really treat their customers better for the amount we pay for these expensive items. Makes me not want to purchase from them ever again tbh.

I am sorry this happened to you. Did you purchase it from a store or online? I have found that if I go in person and talk to my sales associate often times they can get repair costs waived.

I purchased it from a boutique, but i sent it in directly to the repair center because a customer service rep sent me a shipping label and after sales form after i spoke with them on the phone. Do you think its too late for me to get it waived even after i agreed to pay for it?

Hello, if you have already sent it in and agreed to pay for it, I don’t know if the complication would be worth the potential savings. From personal experience, I took in a pair of earrings which I had owned for about 9 months and the base of one post had broken off inside the earrings. I took them in to my SA and they were sent into the workshop, the repair was without a fee.

Hi,
This question may have been asked before. But I just could not find the exact answer I was looking for.
My VCA sweet alhambra yellow gold had some discoloration on the back and on the post. It was purchased in 07/2024 which is less than a year. I contacted VCA customer service and they sent me the service kit to send the earrings back to have they look at. They will email me the cost later and I can accept or deny the service.
1. My question here is the earrings are less than 1 year old. Should it be tarnished that quick? And it is 18k yellow gold.
2. I asked them the warranty on the earrings and this is what I get. So they don't offer warranty on their creations? is anyone know about their warranty? Sound so disappointing if there is no warranty as their jewelries are expensive. Unfortunately I do not have a boutique near by.

i never had this issue with my VCA ear studs, although my friend's ear studs did have some tarnish/discoloration on the posts. i think it's due to the metal interacting with your skin and since the posts are in your ear lobes so making it harder to clean daily, unless you don't mind taking them on and off just to wipe the posts. you can reach out to your SA to see if they're willing to replace the posts for you free of charge since it's purchased within one year to see what they say. my SA has been very kind in waiving my service requests on pieces that are over a year old but i was fully expecting to pay for the service fee anyway. imo the posts sounds like a normal wear & tear issue more so than the metal being defective, so you may incur the $180+ service fee.

I sent my earrings out to VCA thinking I will have to pay some to get it polished again. The service repair kit was sent to my home since I dont have a local store. It took about 2 weeks to get my earrings back. I was surprised that I was not quoted for anything. The shipping was free, the service was free. The earrings came in a VCA velvet box just like when I purchased it. Everything was giftwrapped nicely. Not to mention the earrings look sparkly new.. I am pleased and despite all the VCA drama on tiktok, I am really planning to buy another bracelet which I do not have yet. I wish anyone can help me decide what piece that I get. I am debating between the guilloche 5 motiff vs pave 6 motiff in white gold.

that's great to hear! they might've waived the fee since your earrings are purchased within one year. i was told that if i need the posts replaced or adjusted, it would be complimentary within the 1st year even if it has to be done multiple times to get the proper fit. glad they've promptly taken care of your pieces, that tend to be the norm for me as well regards to their after sale services. influencers on tiktok really like to demonize the brand for views and engagement.

edit: i'd vote for the 5 motif guilloche over 6 motif pave. i've purchased the 6 motif pave before but decided it's too dainty even on my 13 cm wrist, plus i already own the 6 motif in RG hammered. i figured the 6 motif pave isn't really worth the price so i exchanged for the 5 motif onyx/pave instead and really happy with that decision.

wow... my wrist is about 6in and i was thinking the pave 6 motif would look better. i am afraid 5 motif would look too big. thanks for letting me know that you prefer 5 motif instead.
Picking a piece is so hard, just because I want them all if I could afford lol. I love the guilloche but I would want to wear my piece everyday. I work with my hands. My cartier bracelets have a lot of scratches, plus i have a baby and a toddler. That makes me hesitate to order. I also love both WG and YG guilloche. Now I narrow down to the 5 motif style, I have to decide what material or design I want to go with...
