VCA Online Order: Shipping box seal was removed

Hi all,

I just received my overnight order from VCA e-boutique this morning. I live in an apartment and my doorman helped me sign the package. It was picked up immediately after Fedex delivered the item. The security seal was removed, but the shipping label sticker was intact. Please see the attached picture for your reference. When I opened the box to check, everything inside was intact. And also, the serial number on the jewelry itself matches the number on Authenticity Certificate. Should I be concerned? Or should I exchange it? I'm worried that package is going to be damaged or stolen during transit back to the warehouse, since it's around $8000.

P.S. I did call customer service to confirm the serial number with them. They assured me that the piece that I received is genuine. Not a fake one.

I know you guys are more experienced and advices are greatly appreciated.

I have had this happen before, I think it was Hermes or something. Gave me a small heart attack when I saw that the seal broken.
Had a large dent in it too, which made my heart sink. (Carriers are terrible these days :-s)

But I think in your situation it is okay because:
1) The shipping label is intact
2) You called VCA and confirmed authenticity
3) Everything was intact and nothing appears to have been rearranged inside.

I have had situations in which the seal was broken by accident by someone else, or eventually split open on its own due to rough shipping and handling. There was one time that the side of a box was partially hanging open and I thought for sure the item inside was stolen, but it wasn't. Fortunately, all items were okay in those situations.
For situations in which an item was stolen, I just didn't receive the package at all. It's probably easier to hide proof of theft, if one is just going to steal the entire box so there's no evidence of tampering.

Must have been quite a scare, I feel you. Glad you got your order! :smile::tup:

Received my order today with the brown box in the same state at Ayalee.
Label is intact. Insides look okay. Serial Number on COA matches the creation and I was able to add the creation to my account.
Chat said there was no way they could confirm what they sent me is what I received as they cannot talk about serial numbers on chat or phone :(
I just want to verify that my package was not tampered with!
