VCA Alhambra Vintage MOP ring

Hey guys!

I’ve been looking for a right hand finger ring but held off as I thought the style has always been to feminine for me. Saw it on my SA and really liked it. I’m more of a Cartier and Bvlgari girl as I like the edgier designs. But something about the MOP ring really drew me to it. For those who own it - any feedback?
I’m also torn between WG and YG. I own mostly RG jewelry but figured this won’t matter as much as I see more pearl. Any feedback welcomed!

Your post helps me walk down memory lane and take out my ring from the drawer.
This is the first piece I got myself from VCA so it's special for me. It's the older version as you can see from the beading. The box is different as you can flip open the cover and there's a mirror inside. Sadly those good old days of detailed packaging are gone. Hopefully the quality of their jewellery remains.

I used to wear this ring on my left hand very often to work and there's no inconvenience when worn typing on keyboard. I was very happy every time I looked at the ring because the pink and green iridescence reminded me of the sunset and clouds I saw in Australia.
Now I don't wear it much because I focus on earrings. But of course every time I need to wash my hands, I take it off. Also I apply hand cream before putting it on. For me, it's not inconvenient.

I like wearing feminine clothes so vca really resonates with me. I do wear it with jeans and oversized shirt tucked in.

The ring looks lovely on your hand , and on yours @eletons !
However for myself I couldn't buy a ring that I need to remove every time I wash my hands. I've accidentally left a ring behind in a public bathroom & although I thankfully found it, I just don't want to go through that again.

Eventually I got it in the yg version. It's quite a bulky ring to me so i don't view it as dainty or too feminine. I wear it once in a while and i wash my hands in it. Too much work to remove to visit the bathroom and wash hands and wear it back. I feel that occasional hands washing will be fine. Just don't apply lotion with it on.

You are very brave. I don't have the courage to wash hands with it on even for TE, I just wet a cotton cosmetic pad and wipe my TE bracelet.

But I think I am OCD or something, even for rings that cost about 100 euro something, I still take it off before washing my hands.

Yes, leaving it in the bathroom and forgetting about it can be a concern. I have heard stories about people forgetting their diamond ring and lost it. It can be devastating.

I remember sometimes when I wore it in the past, I would take it off and leave it in my office desk or drawer before going to the bathroom. It's a bit too much but it can become a habit.

I bought vca ring as my first piece because it's vca ring advertisement photos that got me to know vca so it's natural that I went for the ring first.

What’s your style like? I can’t decide between WG and YG either. It just looks so nice on my SA but she’s also very girly ( I have a more rock and roll vibe LOL). But!! Something about this ring is drawing me to it. I do have to wear suits daily so I feel this maybe a nice touch.

My SA also says she washes her hands with the ring as she’s paranoid it may be lost.

lolol thanks for the "compliment"!
It's just that I never think of taking it off before going to the bathroom.
But it is a good thing to do because we really should take care of our belongings.
But I should also say we should be more relaxed to enjoy our jewelleries.
I do remove MOP earrings/pendant/bracelet before shower though. I can't bear to wear those to the shower if I remember.

Which gold is your jewellery collection usually in?
I tend to wear more yg/rg so I went for the yg version but I can see how lovely the MOP ring matches with white gold.
Not very helpful but both rings look good on you.

I love it! I do take it off before washing hands, I just slip it into a pocket usually and by now I’m very used to doing this. It’s feminine and pretty and love looking at it throughout the day, so hopefully that is the look that you are going for! It feels very classic VCA and will go nicely with other mop pieces
