Do any of you have both, and if so, which ones do you wear more? If you have neither, which would you rather have? And if you have one, why did you choose it?:p

ALSO......

How do you finance these purchases, and how long can you handle waiting before you drop the bomb!?

I was in Van Cleef's yesterday and saw both sizes for the vintage alhambra earclips. I have to say the mini are MUCH better IMO. The "regular" size is far too large! I always say go big or go home, especially when it comes to jewelry, but I'm rethinking that philosophy. The mini on the other hand were soooo cute. Ahh if I saw someone wearing those I'd be in love/lust/envy/jealousy/wanting to go get a pair immediately. They are darling and a perfect size in this design. I wish they made necklaces with more than one motif in the mini. Keep us updated on which you chose! :)

I agree with Blingbling22 that the mini are too cute .. But I think you should try both sizes on the see which one you like more on you ....I have small earlobes so heavy/large earrings don't sit well on them

I personally prefer the standard size studs as I find them to be the perfect size (not too small nor too large) and they are EXTREMELY comfortable due to the omega backs which VCA can adjust for you if they tend to be too tight. They will also match the necklaces perfectly if you decide to buy more coordinating pieces in the future. However, I think it all depends on what you feel more comfortable with.

Well I went with the sweet due to them looking better on my ear. I did save up so that i could pay cash. It is always more rewarding when you pay cash and their is no financing involved. I'm actually getting them this saturday! I am very excited!

I have tried on both sizes and really, it boils down to whether you want the earrings to pop, or whether you want something discreet and simple. Definitely the larger earclips for the former and the mini ones for the latter.

When it comes to earrings, your hairstyle also matters. The mini ones would be lost if you have long and voluminous hair.

I think the regular Vintage Alhambras are more versatile. For instance, you can also wear them in the evening for a nice dinner. Since I am tall, I don't think the regular ones are too large. The Sweet Alhambra may be better for more casual events, but then again, I don't think they would be as noticeable. The Vintage Alhambra earclips are currently $2900, as of September 2010.

I plan on getting the regular size after getting 2 VCA bracelets. I think the regular are more versatile and can be dressed up or down depending on what you are wearing.

I try both and bought the mini.
When you wear necklace 10 or 20 motif, than mini is a better choice. It was to much for me regular size with necklace.
If you wear only bracelet, i would buy a regular size.
