Hey guys, searching high and low for a pair of varina non-patent black where should i be looking? Everystore ive been to in san francisco only has patent black and im a bit weary about ordering without trying them on, would the fit be the same as other varinas?
I can't answer directly as I don't think I've seen non-patent varinas. However, i have tried on both patent and non- patent Varas and there was definitely a difference in fit and comfort for same size. The SA pointed out a slight variation in the shape of the curve of the front of the mouth of the shoe. One was cut more rounded than the other. This may or may not be reflected in the varinas - I suggest you try on before buying if at all possible.
I have a pair of black non patent Varina that I bought back in 2010. That was the last time I ever saw a non patent Varina. They have only been producing patent ones the last couple of years, even in the Tina and Vara.
