Vanity bag used a vanity bag?

Hi all

I’ve never been a fan of the vanity bag with chain used as a handbag as I think it’s bulky/not easy to open multiple times however I walked past a Chanel beauty store the other day and they had one displayed alongside other vanity cases.

It got me thinking - is it worth get one as an actual vanity bag seeing it has a mirror. I was thinking it might be useful to take out and keep in the car when I need to touch up my make up during the day.

Does anyone use it in this way?

I have the original without the mirror. To me a small compact mirror in your car or handbag would be great for touch up of your make up. The multiple price increases on Chanel slgs I would just prefer to pay for a larger size bag. I just use mine to run quick errands or vacation small lightweight and handsfree.

I love a vanity bag with a top handle as it looks nice for evening and night out.

Not a Chanel, but I have 3 sizes of the LV Nice — only used for vanity/toiletry.
