My purchases this year have been spontaneous and not really gone according to plan.

I wanted only one designer jewelry this year but I see myself wanting more vs a bag. Plus no bag really catches my fancy except a B 25. I just got the VCA sweet necklace in Mop in gold, hasn’t arrived yet tho.

A friend just got the small JUC bracelet and I fell in love instantly. It was so shiny and beautifully made. I’ve heard some horror stories about the small JUC bracelet , which is why I’ve added the onyx VCA bracelet back into my wish list.

which should I go for? I want to get it exactly in a month, so hoping you can all help me.

I’m also open to the small love bracelet. But my preference is durability, as i will be wearing this 24/7

buy what you love. Some threads on TPF discuss the small JUC durability. However, it is possible that neither choice should be worn 24/7. . .although onyx is hard, I’m not sure as to porosity (issues with soap, shampoo etc etc. of course, there will be threads with posts stating both are totally fine to wear 24/7 and posts against. YMMV

Both pieces are beautiful in their own right  , however, they both exude a different aesthetic. Do you have any Cartier or VCA in your collection already?
Since you have a month, how about waiting until your ordered VCA necklace arrives and you try it out for a bit to see how you like it with your aesthetic and style?

If your preference is durability, a general rule is that solid gold will always be more durable than any kind of relatively porous stone (exception would be a stone like a diamond or some other precious gem).

However, is there a reason why you prefer the small JUC? Have you considered/tried on the regular JUC? The regular JUC is solid gold and the closure is very secure.
The reason why I feel hesitant about the small JUC is that it is hollow with a wire, which makes me question about the longevity and structure of the bracelet.
If you're okay with waiting longer than a month and saving up some more, a regular JUC is a more stable and substantial piece.

What are the problems with the small JUC bracelet? I may get one soon...so let me know the tea

I made a video on what happened to my JUC, it seems to be a recurring problem. Basically, the small JUC can bend out of shape easily and has to be sent in for repair because it becomes crooked and deformed. A lot of people seem to have no issues, but a lot also do.

Very informative indeed. Thanks for posting. They should make it solid for that price.

I chose between a small JUC and small Love and opted for the small Love in the end. I love the look of the JUC bracelet but the regular is too big/heavy for me and the small is too flimsy for the price.

I’m really happy with my choice and it looks fabulous either worn on it’s own or stacked with other bracelets. I went for the small Love in yellow gold with six diamonds.

Did you decide to keep yours?
I have to say I absolutely love mine… But I am careful with it. I take it off every night and don’t use it depending what I do (like taking the kids to the swimming pool for example).

I did! I have to admit though, today I am rethinking it. I’ve noticed that my bracelet is ever so slightly crooked again:huh: I may just sell it and move on to something new. Such a shame because I really do love it

I am sorry to hear this.. Maybe that is the best thing to do, in deed.
I hope I will be able to keep mine in shape as it is such a lovely piece and the regular size just doesn’t right look on me.
If this can reassure you, I noticed that T bracelets from Tiffany don’t seem to align perfectly either..

I totally agree! Jst tried on the small JUC w/ diamonds but the regular JUC still won my heart….lol. I love that its solid gold & weighs 3 times the small, hollow JUC so price wise it is still a better buy/value for money! The VCA 5 motif is beautiful as well but I wouldnt be comfortable getting it wet thus wearing it 24/7 might not be a good idea! Jst my humble opinion. At the end of the day, choose what sings to you/go with your 1st choice.
