Hi everyone, Can anyone help please? I’ve read somewhere on here that you can purchase a VCA trace chain. I’m thinking about doing this to wear with my bracelets turning them into necklaces. Has anyone done this? I’d love to see pictures please. Thank you.

This video below was very helpful for me. She links where she purchases the trace chain in the comments. I recommend buying cheaper extenders from Amazon first to see if you like it. I wore my chalcedony 5 motif as a necklace a couple of times but it was difficult to hide the clasps and really depended on wearing the right blazer. I decided I’d rather shorten the bracelet to fit my wrist appropriately and have been getting more use out of it that way.

I don't recommend it. I have the trace chain and tried it to extend my magic bracelet, but the length makes the clasps very noticeable. You can double up the trace chain, but you still have 2 large clasps. If you really want to try something along these lines, I would try a sweet bracelet instead of a trade chain, and extend it if you need to, for a slightly more blended appearance, since then you only have one large clasp and one smaller, more discrete clasp. I trie this also and it was better, but I also have a small neck. I also purchased a custom unbranded chain extender to try but it was about $350, so probably a better value to just get a sweet bracelet). You can also have the vintage clasp changed to a sweet clasp on a bracelet for $180 (this is even charged for SO/MTO items) to make it less noticeable, but the workshop does not love this modification so it takes awhile. Going on 4 months now!
