-The Vertigo Tote was first launched in Spring/Summer 2009, Facchinetti's last collection for the house.

-It is made using special leather-cutting techniques and requiring fine craftmanship that creates the characteristic ruffles.

-It was never presented on the runway.

-But it was included in the Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaign. Stephanie Seymour appears naked-except for a pair of blue suede shoes- covering her bosom with a Peacock Blue Vertigo.

-It quickly became a hit among the customers because of its feminine and different look, and notably without the aid of celebrities.
