Valentino Through the Years - PICS ONLY

So this is spring/summer 2000. It's difficult to see the bags, at the time nobody did close-ups, but still the pictures will give you an idea of what this season's bags looked like.

Most bags were small, and some had some sort of fringe over theme.

Feathers, beads and round-shaped handles embellished evening bags. Also some totes included the "V" medallion (something the brand does not use anymore)

If anyone could get away with such feminine details it was Valentino. Feather, fringe, beads, embroidery, floral appliques - you name it, this collection had it.

Finally close-up pictures!

Butterflies? Check. Gorgeous exotic skins? Check. Embroidery? Check. Swarovski incrusted signature logo in the first bags from the catch line? Check! Yeah... letimotivs were there, but the most exiting was the inclusion of that iconic logo we all know and love, and that has been reinterpreted numerous times. For the second half of 2004? Incrusted with crystals, no less.
