Valentino Rockstud or Dolce & Gabbana Embellished???

Need your advice! I’m looking for a fun and beautiful shoe to wear to cocktails or dinners out. Typically I’m in a dress but a number of times I may wear jeans.

Both shoes are comfortable and can work with my wardrobe. I worry a bit about the Valentino’s being “too” gold but they look nice with my yg jewelry. I also worry a bit about the Dolce’s being bronze as I’ve never owned anything bronze before.

Lastly, are rockstuds dated? And, my BFF felt the style of the Dolce’s was unremarkable.

So, weigh in with your opinion. Thanks!!!

Voted rockstud bc you wanted a true gold and bc I find rockstud heels more comfy than dolce. Also I find the ankle detail of these Dolces a bit less flattering on my own leg. JMO though! Hugs

I´d prefer the ones on the left- are they the rockstuds? I love the shape, the thicker heel, the shape of the toe, the platform- some glam 70ies play 40ies vibes. The shoes on the right look random to me and even though they are designer to me they look like many a cheap party shoe I´ve seen.

An update. The D&G shoes arrived and look nothing like the photo. They are a deep bronze with a dark greenish cast. The Valentino’s are true to the stock photo.

The greenish cast looks awful against my skin tone. My leg and foot look zombie-esque

I don’t ever look good in earth tones no matter which ones I try. So, this being a bronze / khaki means it’s a pass.
