Valentino Replacement Parts

Hi all,

I'm considering buying a Valentino. However, it is missing a couple of pieces (two of the little rosettes). Does anyone have experience with Valentino's Request Parts? Does Valentino repair their bags? If so, will it matter that I'm not the original buyer (and do not have a receipt)?

I'm not sure what their policy is, but I have requested a dust cover for my Histoire on 6 separate occasions (from 3 different stores) and was promised they would mail one and I never received it. Good luck with the rosettes because they seem more difficult than a dust cover.
