Tory Burch Vachetta? For winter? What do you think?

Haven't ever carried TB before. I'm mostly an LV gal, usually happiest with my Speedies, but I wandered past a Tory Burch display the other day and was really attracted to the Robinson Satchel -- in Vachetta! It is so much like a Speedy, and I love the shoulder strap. Now, here are my questions:

1. How does the TB Vachetta hold up? I don't think it is what I've seen online described as "Aged Vachetta." I saw some accessories when I was shopping that were far more yellow-beige than the true nude leather of the handbag. So, will it darken? Will it scratch? Will it spot in the snow or rain?

2. Would you carry a light color like this in the winter? I wear LOTS of black, but my hair is reddish brown & my eyeglasses are purple, red, and pumpkin. I have black & brown winter coats & boots as well.

Wow, I didn't even know TB did anything Robinson in vachetta! I would love to see it, I bet it's gorgeous.

I can't answer your question about how TB's vachetta wears, but as far as whether or not I would carry a lighter bag in winter, aboslutely! In fact, my daily carry bag right now is the TB Robinson Satchel (the larger one, not the middy) in Clay.
