I have a vintage saumur 30 in excellent condition (patina is still very light) but the vachetta is feeling a bit dry. I keep reading mixed reviews about apple cleaner & conditioner, Cadillac, and I also heard about loving my bags. What are you all using? Any recommendations on which one I should use without damaging my bags? Thank you!

This Saumur looks amazing!

With Apple products you have to be very careful to use the right stuff. Apple Cleaner is not what you want. Avoid! It's got harsh chemicals, and I'd personally never use it. Apple Care Leather Conditioner is the gentle product that moisturizes only and is safe for vachetta.

I have used this on all the vintage Vuitton pieces I have bought if the vachetta was no longer shiny. It may darken the patina slightly, but is a fair trade off imo for how hydrated, soft, and shiny it leaves the vintage leather!
I second this. I’m in process of restoring some truly vintage pieces (1980s) and this has been the best.
May need several coats, but the color is beautiful after.

Not mentioned, but definitely avoid leather honey or Saphir on light vachetta. Will darken it significantly… and not in a pretty way.
