Vache Liagee

I saw the swatch yesterday in Rouge Garance and it was gorgeous!

Rouge Garance in vache liegee is beautiful indeed. I saw a color swatch and it seems darker in color compared to clemence. The vachel liegee also looked like it had more bluish/pinkish tones than golden ones in clemence.

Can anyone describe or is there a pic anywhere of this leather in rouge garance? I have heard several raves and it really peaks my interest.

Although it's not a nice comparison, the color made me think of blood....I don't know how else to describe it...I haven't seen pics of it...but it's GORGEOUS!!

Hmmmm, pooh, you bring up a good point. I don't think it takes color well. So far the leathers that seem to take color well are Swift, epsom, and chevre.

Humm..you might be right, HG.:shrugs: Looking at these ladies gorgeous bags..the colors are more subdued than in other leathers, IMHO?:shrugs: :flowers:

It does seem that colors take somewhat subdued on the Liegee, but more than that, they actually take differently as far as tone. As an example, the Gold in Liegee has more of a golden undertone than Gold Togo or Clemence - it's also lighter in color.

And Brique in Liegee turns out as a unique sort of coral-orange....... instead of having any red in it as it does in other leathers.

First pic shows Gold Liegee on the left and Gold Togo on the right.
Others are of Brique Kelly in Liegee.
