Using Other Designer Brand Accessories W/LV Bags

Hi Everyone,
I am relatively new to LV and am just wondering how many of you use other designer brand's (such as coach) accessories with your LV bags? Would you use another designer brand wallet, coin purse or key holder with your LV bag? Also would you put a charm from another designer brand on your LV? Thanks for your input!:smile:

I use some Coach accessories with my LV bags. I carry a wristlet in my bags, and I use Coach keychains as well. I am weird about other brand charms though, I only use LV charms on my bags. I like other charms, and I have them, but I use them on my other bags.

I am the queen of putting juicy key fobs on my Lv speedies!:lolots::lolots::lolots: I love it! Also the key fobs that I use don't have "juicy"plastered all over them...so it looks more like a cute thingy jig hanging from the bag. KWim?

I try my best to match all my wallets and SLGs with the brand of whichever bag I'm carrying. Sometimes I don't have time to switch, so I'll have a Dior wallet in my LV bag or whatever.. and it actually bothers me a bit, since I'm someone that loves matching these things.

With the key chains, I will never have a different brand on my LV if the key chain itself has the logos of something else all over it. If it's just a simple design with no indication of which designer it's from, then I'll go for it.

While I personally like to match (I'm a bit OCD about this at times) there is no right or wrong way to carry your bag. If YOU like it, DO IT. That's all that matters at the end of the day!

Check out the "What's in Your LV?" thread - some people are very matchy-matchy and others have very eclectic tastes.

I love seeing how others organize their stuff - DH says "What's in Your LV" and "What's in Your Coach" are my version of porn!

I don't have any LV yet but what I really want are the accessories, to use with my Coach/Kate Spade bags (I'm nervous about carrying a high end bag) so I can enjoy them but not worry about others seeing them.

I agree with tiggycat. There are some onther good threads on this topic. personally, I use 1 wallet with all my bags (it is a brown Burberry) until it wears out. So in other words I mix and match and do not see anything wrong with it.

of course i do, i use burberry, and gucci etc...

I am the exact same way, I love to match accessories with my bags but sometimes I just don't have time to switch all of my credit cards and ID over to the matching wallet. At least if I do use a different brand accessories, they are of the same "caliber" if that makes sense. :P

Mismatching doesn't really bother me. I'd carry other designer brands but all of my SLGs are LV just because I think their SLGs are far superior, the quality is excellent and lasts years (just my opinion).
