Used Speedy 30 on ebay- current bid $800???

I almost bought this, the bin was $425, and it seemed like a great deal.
I emailed the seller and asked if she would accept a return if I had it authenticated and it turned out to be fake, and she said no. So I bought a new one at LV.

I just noticed that the current bid is $800!!! Plus shipping!
The bag retails for only $690, and after tax I only paid $748...why in the world would people be willing to pay over $100 OVER retail for a used bag with no proof of authenticity???

I'm kind of flabbergasted!

My guess is that only one of the bids (at $400) is legitimate. The other two bidders have zero feedback -- so either the seller is being way too obvious in using a shill bidder, or two people who have no intention of paying are bidding it up.

Used Speedy 30 for $800 on Ebay...not worth the money. A brand new speedy 30 is like 725 bucks at the LV store. Well, that's how much I paid for my speedy 30.
