I personally would never use
any of these commercial cleaners on my
Gucci bags.
From the pic, it looks like the cleanser has sunk down permeating in to the deeper layers of the skin making it look darker. See if just waiting and letting it dry out completely lightens the colour.
Doesn't look at all like 'oils from clothing' from what I see.
Firstly, there is a not a single Gucci bag that would be OK getting wet, even with plain water/rain (although most are actually OK with a bit of rain). That's the first thing Gucci would tell you if you asked how to take care of your bags, they usually have a care booklet with every bag.
The word 'power' should alert you this cleaner will not be a gentle cleaner. It actually says on the website "our most powerful cleanser".
What are the ingredients? (I can't find them on the website but they should be on the back of the bottle):
Water can dry out/harden the leather and deplete natural oils
Oil can stain permanently and/or dissolve ingredients from the tanning process.
Solvent can remove finish, lighten colour and dry out/harden the leather.
Each type of leather is different and has to be tanned differently. We (as customers) don't know the formula of the tanning process, the dyes or finish used, and therefore it cannot be safe to use any of these general cleaning products (which are usually, basically a lather-free shampoo) on our
very expensive bags.
