Hello everyone - does anyone know the next time special orders can be placed in the U.S.? :girlsigh: I'm dreaming of a Fuschia (or pink shocking) 30cm Birkin w/GHW (just like "Elle"!!!)

Special orders can be placed at any time during the year I believe. That is why they are not podium orders...a special order is something that isn't offered at podium i have been told. that's why it's special and i think the "any time of year" comes into it that way as well. but that's all i know.

Special Orders (outside of Paris) coincides with the podium season. Stores may choose to take requests throughout the year, but the actual submissions (I hear it's online these days) are done after the SMs/SAs return from Paris.

I placed one this week and I was told six months to a year for it to come in from now. They said the podium list was closed though until Feb.

Thanks for the confirmation, MrsS. My SO was just placed by my store after the last podium. (Even though I talked about it with my SA for some time -- the order actually went in after podium.)

HC :heart:, can't wait for you to share with us when your bag arrives. 6 months to a year .... hmmm ... sounds like your store happens to have placed an order for exactly what you want, and since you have declared your interest, you are first on the list for it.

The next podium is Feb09 indeed. And SO submission for the period of SS2009 would be some time after that.

My SA said she'd take an order from me right before she leaves for podium in January.

^ I doubt you would need to SO it. Lizzie CDCs are usually around. Have your SA do a search and let them know you're interested they should call you when one comes in.
