I just bought a watch from Japan which costed about 1100 US dollars, and it has .2ct weight total of diamonds, also it's a quartz movement watch, so there is this tiny battery in there.
My seller sent it through EMS, and declared that it only worths 1600 JP Yen (about 15 dollars). Based on my past experiences, the California custom usually clears items within 12 hours, but this time it's been there for more than a day, and still no updates.
I know batteries are not allowed to send internationally, and if I'm right, diamonds are also not allowed. So is there any chance that my package could be held? If it didn't pass through the US custom, what will they do? Will they return the package to the sender?
TIA
