Hi, I just thought I would throw this in the ring, I had a Chanel Jumbo flap and found the strap too heavy across my shoulder. I now have a smaller Chanel and find it much better for me. So if you have a bad back or shoulder you might need to consider this.

I think at that price range I would go for a Bottega Veneta. They look so yummy, and logo free! I love the looks of the classic hobo and ball bags.

I would recommend a Bottega. The quality is wonderful. I'm thinking about getting one myself. I think that is a good bag that you can carry anywhere and it will be fine. They have some great sizes for their bags and some nice neutral colors.

With a $3000 budget, I would buy a Mulberry with a matching wallet and keyring!! I prefer to carry a bag that you don't see everywhere. That said, a Bottega would be gorgeous and a classic!
