I am new to the MK thread and fell in love with the Uptown Astor Shoulder Tote in Khaki from the current Fall collection. I haven't seen many Astor pictures on this forum or current discussions. I wanted to see if there are any Astor fans and for those that have had it or have it currently, what you think of it? TIA. I have posted a picture of the Khaki which is the one I want.

I like this bag very nice leather and size. Have you checked TJ Maxx for this bag? The ones in my area currently have them for $199.

I have two and love them! I rarely carry it by the shoulder strap--I prefer the shape the bag forms when carried by the short handles. It is on the heavy side, though, because of the size & strap.

I fell in love with it too. The FP store only had it in vanilla, black and python. I thought it was a bit pricey and I had just spent a small fortune at Coach plus I wasn't in love with any of the colors so I passed on it. Then I found an outlet version that I love even more. It is dark green suede with brown leather trim and it was only $174.50.
Hi, this happens to be one of my favorite MK bags! I have 3, black, navy and luggage all with gold hardware. This bag is ultra light, not the same bag that I've seen in TJ's, which I believe is the outlet version. My bags have large gold studs, whereas the other version has small silver studs and the leather is extremely different too. My bags are soft and buttery, the other is stiffer and heavier.

Thanks all for your replies and for the pictures. I try on that bag in khaki every time I'm near an MK store, which is pretty dangerous bc one of these days I may end up getting it. But its hard to pay full retail for it, I think it's $448 (plus tax). I will wait for when it goes on sale. But the leather is scrumptious and buttery and love the shape and the way it wears. I don't have an overwhelming amount of handbags in my collection so this one will definitely fill a gap since I don't own anything in the brown/tan/beige family... so I can easily "justify" *needing* this one 
bump please! Does anyone have modeling pics of the new one that zips up? I was in the store last night and tried it on full with the packing stuff and empty and love how it sits with the cross body strap empty, but not sure what it would look like with just the necessities in it. I am dying to own this bag. I think seeing that bag has converted me to MK! The SA told me it was called uptown astor but it definitely doesn't look like the ones pictured here aside from the metal studs.
I would love him to make this in rose gold (not the outlet version)..the one with the buttery leather 
I LOVE Astor bags! I probably have half a dozen or so. I have Astor satchels in vanilla, black and luggage. The original one piece Astor large hobo in luggage and black and the newer Astor hobos seen here in Bordeaux, luggage and mocha. They all have the gold studs. These bags are great and very durable and I always get tons of compliments and where did you get that bag questions!
Hi! I too love the edgy look of this bag although I don't own one. At least not yet. I'm feeling the Crossbody Satchel version more. Would anybody know if the Uptown Astor Crossbody Satchel ever came in saffiano or the ones I saw online are fakes? It came in yummy colors like pink, yellow and tangerine.
Hmmm, I'm not sure about that. I don't really know alot about what colors came in what style. Maybe call a MK boutique and ask them?
