Hi everyone
This is my first post on this forum and I’m so happy to have discovered it!
I’m finally at the point in my life where I can purchase my first Chanel bag, something I’ve been dreaming about for years.
I am in love with the Classic Flap bag in medium size, caviar leather, black with gold hardware.
It seems this item is extremely hard to get in stores.
I went into Chadstone Melbourne boutique and the SA basically told me to come back everyday and maybe I’ll get lucky :’(
Does anyone know the best way to go about getting this bag in Melbourne?
Or should I give up and wait until I can travel overseas to buy?

Call Chanel Hotline to request the bag. They would put your name down to the store which you preferred. Once It's available then store SA will contact you but you have to fast-in for pick up. Because of Chanel changed the policy to first in first served. However, I would suggest you to get the contact number of SA and keep in touch with. Good luck

The SA at Chadstone boutique was quite rude and I’m going to try the Flinders Ln boutique tomorrow, and hopefully meet a more professional SA I can keep in touch with!
I heard that the price of chanel mini reissue is already up in NY.. just matter of days for a price increase here in Australia ..
Chaddy's SA are the most friendly one I have ever met so far
and I dont feel comfortable to shop in the city's boutique, but this is only my opinion, no offence. But I saw one of personal shopper from IG posted the price of Classics, Boy Woc and 2.55 will increase on 31/Oct/2019.
Just confirmed by Chanel that price increase will be on 1st of Nov. unfortunately I didn’t find anything I after.
I saw this in bondi store.
Try to call customer service and ask for transfer if it is still available.
I heard from US site that only reissue, classic flap and boy including Slg will increase price. I don’t know if Australia has different range for price increase.

After them sending me on a wild goose chase, I take their words as a grain of salt!
long story short, i ended up scoring the brooch I wanted from interstate.
I went to the boutique because I started to distrust the info the different person on helpline has told me.
The very nice SA checked and told me at least 3 boutiques (2 in Melb n 1 in Perth) showing the item.
I asked a friend to get the item and she has kindly went her way to get for me.
so if you have a SA, do ask her/him to check their inventory because they also will be able to see which stores might still have them.
I saw this jumper two weeks ago on Castlereagh- might have sold by now but after what happened to me, I would not rely on helpline.
