Travel Up and coming Italian Designer labels I can get in Milan

Hi lovely ladies, can I get some advice on which up and coming designers are worth checking out in Milan? I presume that the departmental stores would be the best place to start?

Not "up and coming" but I highly recommend visiting the Fontana Milano 1915 flagship store. Yes, you can get their bags at Barney's, but that's a minimal selection. The Milan store has a better array of bags in a much wider range of beautiful colors and leathers. Their web site is quirky, to say the least, but if you stick with it, you get a pretty good idea of what they have.
