Unsatisfying Experience with Dr. Kim Ji Min VIEW PLASTIC SURGERY KOREA

I went to View because they gave me facilities of rooms etc and I kid you not, DON'T BE TRAPPED ON THE FACILITIES OF THE VIP ROOMS ACCOMODATION!

The marketing also very sweet talk you but when you complain she immediately being very defensive of what should have been!!

I REGRET CHOSE VIEW AS MY CLINIC!! I wanted to do acculift for upper cheek part and that is my main concern.
Also i want to have a fox eyes surgery, and fat graft. So that i went for operation, they did not even check the concern of my face is on bone or fat.
It actually on FAT not BONE!! They are very money hungry i tell you, the marketer even asked me to do boob jobs, while she saw my boob already very nice (when i prepared for surgery i need to undress myself and she was there to help me). She also trying to tell me what to do and say it's swelling etc when i complained about the surgery that did not delivered by dr Kim Ji Min.

I went to other clinic before to VIEW, they said "No dont do this and that". Fresh clinic is the example of non materalistic clinic.

Now surgery done and no fox eyes, and the doctor named KIM JI MIN did not acculift the part that I always concerned!
Put very little fat on the designated area, you know fat graft the fat will shrink after 6 months to 1 year.

Also this Doctor KIM JI MIN, made my thigh bruised very badly. I have done fat graft before like 3 times in different clinics and never experienced bruised on my thigh like this. And when i complained, the marketer Jasmine said that "Maybe your body react differently" LOLLLLL or maybe your doctor was not gentle at all!!! Honestly when i showed it to my friend who is a doctor, she was very shocked that fat graft and taking fat from thigh shouldnt be that much bruise at all. She was shocked! The bruises are too bad. even it did not disappear on the 14th day!! BAD BRUISES and hurt too!

When i say no fox eyes, it's not fox eyes at all while the doctor herself even asked if i want that i said yes, she offered me then did not deliver.
The marketer Jasmine kept saying that it's swelling, she thinks I am stupid. Swelling makes your eyes bumpy not lifting your eyes. You think it's magic could lift your eyes after deswelling treatment? lol.
She has lack knowledge of plastic surgery. I said I want to do threadlift to at least make the fox eyes, she said i need to pay for another millions won. Funny.

I am not satisfied at all with this clinic. Paid for millions got something not like what I wanted.
Nose job and lipo is ok, not super good though just so so.
Doctor Jeong Jin Wook is good for nose and dr. Hyeon Woo for lipo.
Don't go to other doctor, even dr.Yun Chang Woon did not want to see you more than 10 mins.

AVOID this bad doctor KIM JI MIN.

Overall, I DON'T recommend.

They even charged me for everything like i lost my room key they charged too, i mean come on after millions of money that i paid! It’s over 10 millions won! Don’t be trapped in “convenience”. Better to have good doctor. They actually gave me new doctor i researched about dr Kim Ji Min, she is only assistant doctor actually. I mean she is doctor can do surgery but not the higher tier u know what i mean, she is new doctor. She hasn’t even published a journal. View is fully booked and gave me the doctor that is less booked. There is a reason why doctor is less booked and yes View is very shady.

if you want to know doctor is good/gentle or not towards you during surgery, see the bruises. This dr. Kim Ji Min gave me very bad bruises. I attached the picture of my thigh bruises. Doctor Kim Ji Min took fat from my thigh to move to my forhead for fatgraft. I have done fat graft many times in other clinic and never happened to me like this.

Other consultant Judy also nice. But this other marketer Jasmine when i confronted her attitude she was like unhappy, no sorry, no anything, made a flat expression and you know what? still being defensive lol.. She said before to me "Not everything can be done as what you wanted to" WOW what a manner saying things like this! making me seem like im asking for something unrealistic, which what i asked very realistic. I am not asking to change myself to be someone else lol. I also didnt ask for my nose to be super tall like Kendall Jenner. lol. Maybe she can say that to OliLondon who wanted to look like different person Jimin BTS who did surgery at View. She even said that Oli is weird, wow then when I am not around she must have said to other too that I am weird lol Being a consultant must be professional and not talking about other like that behind their back. But I am just a normal person and want to improve my appearance, she shouldnt say things like I wasnt realistic. If I am a marketer I wouldn't say something like this, it is super no manner. I was so kind to her I told her before that she deserved to be promoted because she always sweet talked me, but then she became a different person when I complained about the work of dr.Kim Ji Min. She should have listened though not being defensive. and she should have said "What can we do to make it right" Now when i wrote this review and they came to me saying things to make it right. Why didn't you do it from beginning? Maybe if Marketer Jasmine was not defensive I wouldn't have wrote this review. Cause I am very upset of her defensive behaviour, talking to me like I am her kid. Insisting that my opinion is wrong and very very defensive about her doctor. When I havent booked any surgery before, she said "yes can do, yes can do that too" Now she said not everything can be done. She was good to me before and I was also good to her, but you can see people real attitude when we complain about things. I thinks she is really lack of knowledge though, cause when I asked her to send me paypal invoice, she sent me View invoice. I said "Paypal invoice". She said "yes sent". She sent me email with View invoice Does she even understand what PayPal invoice is?

The doctor Kim Ji Min that i researched is not listed as certified plastic surgeon, it's not illegal.. cause under Korean Law they allowing general medical practitioner to do surgery. But she is not board certified plastic surgeon, when i researched her experiences are very short and mostly residency, intern, assistant professor. You know what I mean? When I told Marketer Jasmine she was being defensive like "No she is not illegal" then I told her "Who said she is illegal? That's not what I meant. She is not illegal but she is not board plastic surgeon" I am not sure if she didn't do research or what, how could someone working at View doesn't understand what Board Certified Plastic Surgeon means and Medical Korean Law of Plastic Surgery.

I think if they are smart, they must give foreigner a priority good doctor NOT less experienced and less booked doctor so that can promote their clinic overseas because when things are good of course we will tell our friends, or maybe our friends will ask. While in Korea, everyone already knew the clinic and it has big tall building on daero (big road) which is count as promotion. Plus foreigner also took a flight to go there for hours. Travelling is not easy and tiring, this must have the point. I think the marketer needs to learn how marketing works. I am not sure what her background education though.

I will need to give a good opinion and thumbs up for dr.Hyeon Woo, he has good attitude, not rushing patient, always listen to patient which is a good thing because patient need reassurance when doing surgery, i mean it's surgery. it's a serious thing, you can't just say something and go which most doctor do.
He did my liposuction. dr.Hyeon Woo's work is tidy no bruises on my arm. very very little bruises. Not like dr. Kim Ji Min, gave me big big bruises on whole my thigh. dr. Jeong Jin Wook also very polite, listens to patient and not rushing me when I did consultation with him. This is professionalism. Nice work also for dr. Wook. i think dr. Wook also has good aesthetic taste. That is why I always say experience never lie. not like dr. Kim Ji Min who was confused when examining my face she looked confused, when i asked i want to do epicantoplasty to look mixblood, she laughed. impolitely. like it's funny. if any of view employee read this, of course she wont admit. but i am just telling you next time have cctv that record sound on consultation room. just FYI.

Also what makes me upset beside the marketer being defensive is that they charged me more dollars when i paid with paypal. just because their withdrawal have currency differences because they want to recevie it in Won and I paid in USD. My Paypal can't pay in won. I am also doing big business by paypal, I am not doing that to my client. Just for EXAMPLE if i charge my client 50,000 USD, they will pay 50,000 USD. I will not charge them another few hundreds dollar just because when i withdraw to my bank there is currency differences. It's very unprofessional. You know when you withdraw from paypal to your bank, there will be a currency differences, it's supposed to be their responsibility. But you know what? They charged me again for another $X00 (few hundreds dollar, X for privacy) lol. so overall for my first surgery, I paid more $X00 something dollar additional costs just to cover their currency withdrawal to their bank/card. So my total cost of surgery is = total cost + that few hundreds dollars of the currency differences. I even paid under "send to friend" button so that they wouldn't be deducted paypal cost. In under send to friend button, the recipient will recieve full amount and not deducted any paypal fee. If you pay under "Buy service/product", the recipient will be deducted 3% fee from the total amount sent by the sender. And that is still not enough for View. Still want to charge me more hundreds dollars for withdrawal currency differences. If that few hundred dollars make View happy than just take it. View employee if you read this, dont tell me you dont know the differences between paypal cost and withdrawal currency cost from paypal. I wouldn't do that honestly as an owner of big company, they must learn more better how to market themselves to foreigner. As a person who owned and works professionally in a professional big company, I personally very unhappy with this behaviour. It's not professional at all.

I am with them at the moment and I love my doctors. Judy has been amazing from the get go, I will write a review about them in details once my journey is complete!

On another note, how are you guys getting covid tests to return to the US? I heard it’s $50 at the airport

ok so after 3-4months my surgery on VIEW. I am still DISAPPOINTED.
Paid so much money to look all the same. Only slightly different lol...
So I decided to redo it soon in Thailand.

IF you want dramatic result, just go Thailand. Don't go to Korea, they like minimalist result.
Which for me it's a waste of money, to look slightly different.
I met all my friends, they all said "Did you even do a surgery?" lol
Come on really... after all the pain and so much money?! haha

I plan to redo it all, even my nose. Look too natural and too basic which I don't like. Not even high enough.

I saw PMED Clinic in Thailand, and you can see their result.. very dramatic.

Also it recently came out from ex-view staff since so many have left and went onto another clinic that Liv the creator of the Kakao View PS Support chatroom was a paid broker for view. And she used the chat as a means to track her sales and get paid.

So if you were in her chat and went to View about 10% to 30% of your surgery fee went to her without you knowing it. This why she's not active anymore since they fired Henry and so her line got cut.

You should report them and maybe file a claim with the Korean Consumer Protection Agency about Liv and her chat. If you need the clinic workers name who blew the whistle to give your report credibility DM.

They might be ordered to fully refund you.
