I have been wanting Frivole mini earrings and mini necklace for a while now and since my birthday is approaching I decided to go for it. I travel a lot and do not have one particular SA so I called an online number and inquired about these pieces. They told me that they had none online and did not see any earrings in the US but they did have a couple of boutiques that had the necklace and would contact one of them to contact me and arrange the sale. I agreed to it. So, the Hudson Yards contacted me regarding the necklace. I agreed to purchase it and they told me it would ship the same day.
Since I did not hear from them, I called them the next day to inquire about the shipping to make sure I would be home to sign for it (it was supposed to arrive that day). Whoever picked up was rather agitated to the point of being annoyed. I asked about the shipping, she said if I purchased them yesterday, they should arrive today but cannot give me a tracking number or any other information because the package was insured. it made no sense but whatever. I said ok but asked her if she could make sure they were shipped yesterday so that I would not be waiting home today for nothing. She said they were shipped. Then, a second later, said they were not shipped and was not sure when they were shipping and that I should contact my SA who sold them to me (at this point, she is rude and snippy for no reason). So I asked her which was it since she told me two different pieces of info. She hung up. Lol (literally, because all I had left to do is laugh at this absurdity). I have purchased quite a few pieces either from Cartier or VCA and have always received an excellent service. I would say VCA was often times significantly better. Until now. I did not even know that someone who should be trained to be professional could just hang up on a customer like this. I am a rather self-reflective person but could not recall anything I did wrong. I rarely (if ever) complain but had to write about it here. Lol.
Needless to say, I cancelled my purchase because I did not want it to be associated with this event and unpleasantry. I decided to hold on to the necklace and purchase just the earrings. I hope I will have more luck with those since they are not so easy to come by either. But this time, I will try to get them in-person only.
