Unique Etienne Aigner Purse Ornament

I found what appears to be a vintage Etienne Aigner purse while thrifting today. It unfortunately has no "Etienne Aigner" label anywhere on it, save for a handmade ornament that I cannot find anywhere online. Can anyone help me identify this ornament? It may just be a fake made in the 60's or 70's, or perhaps it's something much more unique. The leather used for the bag is high quality and it's in great condition for it's age. I've attached two photos of the bag. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Yes I still love Aigner purses and SLGs. Wish I had bought a few more back in the day.
