Oh my DH has been such a sugarplum lately 
. We went to the jeweler to have my ering upgrade tweaked, for the last time. (YAY!) He told me to bring my old vintage Rolex, to see if they had any ideas to jazz it up. I've had it for awhile, he bought it as a bday gift for me at a reputable Rolex reseller years ago. At first I wore it all the time, just loved it. But as time has gone by I've gotten new, flashier watches and sort of forgot about it. But I still totally love it. I've been madly admiring watches with diamonds lately, even picked up a new cutie Michele at a watch outlet. But of course longing for a diamond bezel Rolex! Well thats not happening, lol, but we are going to add a diamond bezel to the vintage. Since the watch is c.1950, and no longer has the original band, we've been assured that adding the aftermarket bezel is ok. It's also getting a new sapphire crystal, the original is plastic and I've scratched it, and a lovely new black leather band. It should be ready on Sunday and I'm getting so excited to see it! Really, only fellow TPFers could understand my excitement over this. I'll post pics of the makeover!

I was only a *little* disappointed because I was expecting to see the bling already until I read your story!!!! 
I want bling now!!!! hehe I guess I will have to be patient until you post your revamped Rolex!!!
