I wish I had tried on this model earlier, there are so many wonderful and useful details.
I was pleasantly surprised that the interior of the bag was fully lined in leather, rather uncommon for a seasonal bag and especially at a much lower price point.
Also love the front zipper pocket and the back slit pocket that was spacious enough for my phone.
The strap drop (to me) is between a square mini and a rectangle mini, which I personally love.
Some may not be a fan of the new look compared to the past season as the flap/back of the bag is now plain instead of being quilted, the pocket quilted instead of being plain and the zipper pulls of the front compartment now metal instead of leather tabs.
I find the plain flap refreshing and less prone to wear/worry of the quilting threads, compared to the previous model or to the more common classic flaps we see.
The back pocket instead of being plain also has it's merit as there are no piping that may wear from rubbing against clothes and such.
I also felt that the worst that could happen to the metal zipper pulls would be scratches, instead of peeling/discoloration of leather tabs, especially if in a lighter color.
I did compare the Business Affinity (BA) in small size to the mini Coco Handle. I didn't quite like that the structured handle of the Coco Handle to knock onto my hip everytime I open the flap and the additional leather piece in the centre of the bag which sectioned the already small space into 2 equal parts. I had a small Coco Handle and sold it quickly after the corners showed creases after 1 wear.
No offence to Coco Handle fans, the above are purely my thoughts after trying them on.
The BA is slightly more expensive than a square/rectangle mini (I have both) but could fit so much more.
I apologise for the long-winded post and if I may have offended anyone.
I couldn't fault this lovely bag, which had just joined my collection and will not be leaving anytime soon, if at all.
