Here is a tip I learnt receltly...

I bought a blue jeans belt on my lst trip to Rome, but it was not my size, but because of the 15% savings I bought one anyway with a view of punching more holes in then when I get back to London.

Well apparently, Hermes London has a policy where they can EXCHANGE it with a new belt that fits - provided of course you have not used it... Same would apply to scarves I assume. So if you happen to be at an airport and you did not find the exact belt you want, just buy any belt and exchange it when you get back.

The down side is that Hermes is cheaper in London by 15% anyway... so there was really no savings for us Brits buying at rome duty free..

Unfortunately, Hermes is in terminal 3 only... but I am sure to pick something up next time I pass there! I wonder, is it possible to have items sent there to be picked up?...

I doubt it, the stores aren't overly keen on transferring between themselves let alone the airport store. It was pretty well stocked when I was there last Thursday
