I have been on the hunt for ages for a pair of stretchy, soft skinny jeans

Like these:

But in the UK

I have seen these on the Topshop website:

http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/s...oryId=203984&sort_field=Relevance&pageSize=20

They say super soft but it doesnt say super stretchy...both pairs of jeans have 4% elastine (which I assume is the "elastic" but the Topshop pair has polyester, the previous jeans are mostly cotton, no polyester. What difference will this make?

What kind of material makeup should I be looking for in order to find my stretchy soft skinny jeans? Im looking for something thicker than jeggings but thinner than your average skinny jean. I do have pair from Miss Selfridge that are really soft but not all that stretchy...

I have a pair from Oviesse that are 70% cotton, 28% polyester and 2% elastane. They are thinner than jeans and stretchy.

There is a trade-off between stretchiness and quality a lot of the time. When you say really stretchy, what do you mean? High percentage cotton jeans tend to hold their shape really well which can be much more flattering.

To be honest Im not sure, I had a pair of jeans once that were given to me by a friend and they were quite stretchy. I dont want them to be as stretchy as leggings but I do want them to be really comfy.

^^There's your key then - comfort. It sucks but it's true - you will need to try on many (hopefully not too many) to find the perfect fit. If they fit properly they will be comfortable regardless. You could get super stretchy ones which are more likely to fit, yes, but quality and longevity will take a nosedive.
