I am sad.

Two things I love, do not love each other.

One of those things is my saddle mercer satchel.

The other of those things is........lindt dark chocolate truffles.

One, melting in to a hot liquid puddle inside of the other, is not a good thing.

And now I don't even have any chocolates to "help" me!

Does anybody have any advice? Eh........advice that does not involve not keeping truffles in my bag.......?

Is the chocolate just on the nylon liner? If so, gentle soap and water should do the trick.

Cool the chocolate so that is flakes off, try to get as much as you can off the lining and soap and water but be careful! Good luck!

I just found it, so I'm not quite yet willing to dive in and try to clean it.....it melted right through the lining, through the seam, and to the outside, it looks JUST HORRIBLE. :cry:

Sucking the chocolate out of the lining isn't really and truly an option is it? Sorry to hear that, but Stormy would be the only one I know who might have an answer for you. Good luck.

Good luck! And in the future, consider putting your yummies in a zip-lock plastic baggie. Not pretty but effective. Try the "freezer" or "travel" bags, which are a little sturdier. Don't scrimp -- store brands are too flimsy.
