Two black cities - please help me decide!

I've been holding onto these two bags for the past two weeks and can't make a decision. Which would you rather?

Option 1: 2004 B tag in great condition. Perfect handles and corners, extra tassels still in pocket. Soft leather but not super silky and smooshy (perhaps not fully broken in?)

Option 2: 2005 Z tag in good condition. Worn handles and corners. Super smooshy broken in leather.

Both years had great leather. Between those two, I'd choose whichever is the darker black, provided the prices are similar.

Even though I own an 05 Z Black, I would pick the 04 because it's in better condition and for the smooth leather. I like smushy/wrinkly leather too but I think smooth 04 leather is harder to find. Plus these bags are 12-13 years old, I just think the 04 is better for longevity due to its great condition. Do you have a preference for puddly soft or slightly less puddly? You can't go wrong with either -- they are really both winners imo. Good luck deciding and let us know.

Edit to add: Do you own other Bbags? Because Bbags are known for its wrinkly distressed look. So if you don't own other Bbags, that might be a consideration to keep the 05.

I have two Z tag bags, and one from from S/S '04 (C tag) and while the leather is different, I think I would pick the F/W '05 if it was in better condition.
But, I don't have any S/S '04 so can't comment on the differences. Very interested in your response.

05 S/S is "A" tag and many oldie lover gals consider it much better leather than 05 F/W.

I would definitely choose the 2004 Not because I'm an expert on A and Z leather, but because it's in the best condition and it just looks fabulous. Of these two bags I like the 2004 B leather best, at least from what I can tell from your pictures. Exciting to see which one you choose!

The B tag looks like she has more life left in her and the leather is just as gorgeous on both bags. I would definitely stick with little miss B Tag. Gorgeous!

If you plan to use your bag, be sure to choose only by which one makes your heart sing. Slight differences in condition will disappear in a year or two, but the emotional attachment will not.

To me they are both lovely, but that Bal thrill is hard to gauge in photos.

Ok...2 bags,same colour, same style, which one do you "feel" is the right one?
It comes down to leather and condition...
If, in the end you really can't decide between the leathers, and your heart isn't warming to one more than the other...probably best to go for the one in the best condition.
Hard decision !!

@adore1220 Best of luck deciding! Very tough choice indeed. I would probably lean towards the 04 because you say it's in better condition but it's hard to go wrong either way!
