Twilly or not twilly? On JC satchel

I have a lovely black patent Jimmy Choo Rosalie satchel, question is twilly or no twilly for summer? Or is it too much? Patent can get a bit sticky in summer.

No, the patent doesn't need dressing up, it's plenty shiny and pretty all on its on. If it's too sticky for summer, maybe reach for another bag? Time to shop?

Oh don’t! I have too many bags! Just thought it looked a bit too serious for summer I can make it work lol

I don't think it's awful but I'm just not into the twilly thing

Can you tuck in the tails? I think the parts that are hanging down makes it a bit much. I like the twilly, but with the patent, buckles, and hardware, it’s a tad busy. Not having the hanging pieces may give it a cleaner look.

I think the bag will look lovely enough without. For practically's sake the patent leather doesn't need it either, really, you're just giving yourself more washing. If the twilies help make the bag more summery or make the bag coordinate with what you're wearing then that's different. So basically, I say it depends.

Thank you! Yes going for a bit more summery have not carried the bag for a while and worried it looks a bit formal, so thought a twilly makes it summery. Thank you for taking time to reply will go for the more neutral twilly as have teal linen dress I will wear with it
