Twilly as headband

I have bought a couple of twillies lately, and I am really enjoying to wear them as hair accessories. However, I cannot find I way I like of having them staying in place. I have tried using bobby-pins but I think maybe there is a better option... Any suggestions?

Would love to see how you use yours as well!

Same problem, like to wear them as a headband but they do not stay in place.
it helps not to tie them too tight. you can also consider wearing a stretchy cotton headband underneath or wrapping it around another headband. I also plan to try keeping it in place with some extra strands of hair.

I do not own twilly.
Use 90cm scarves as headbands.
They do slip & need retying.
Maybe would not, if less active?
But, here's a non-H scarf headband, enduring mechanical bull ride.

Hi! This is what I do: I tie them onto a rubber band. I also make a bow for ponytails (tie a knot onto the rubberband just in case before you make the bow). I've done this for years now, and works very well. HTH!

Ahahaha I learned it the hard way, after losing 3 twillys I tied onto my ponytail! You can also use Maxi-twilly and pochettes (You'll need longer rubber bands for pochette and works as a bandana around your neck too). Don't forget to tie knots!

Genius idea!

I twist the middle of the twilly length for about five inches to made it narrower to go at the bottom by the nape of my neck and tie a cute knot on the top of my head.I have curly hair though and I think this helps it stay in place well.

I used one boobybpinl on each side, low, and they stay in place, but I am now going to switch to the idea by @TresBeauHermes

This is genius. I lost a Twilly just last week that fell off my head without noticing on the subway, so I am going to have to try this.

Thanks! I once had a twilly fall out even with bobby pins, so I will be sure to tie the knot.
