Hi beautiful ladies! I need your advice about this tweed peal crush. How do tweed bag like this hold up it’s like wool? I have to baby the bag? I want to wear it for my day to day errands so what do you recommend I should go with this tweed pattern or wait for leather? So what do you think the practicality and versatility of this bag? I heard that Chanel does not repeat the tweed pattern and finding a right texture and color pattern is the main tricky part:panic:

I wouldn’t recommend tweed for an every day bag. I use my tweeds very occasionally as they are prone to pulls and damage even though I’m extremely careful with my bags. I know there are a lot of lambskin fans but for every day I always prefer caviar or a different calf as it’s very durable.

This tweed is beautiful though - I passed on it as I don’t like the pearl crush style.

Thanks for your input  I think I’ll wait for my perfect tweed pattern. I want rich dark patterns and tightly woven, so hard to catch or snag. Although it’s beautiful but would be cumbersome to take care of because the color is light. Also don’t sure about rubbing and color transfer :amuse: Btw how do you all clean the bag if it gets dirty?

I am in the same predicament. Love the tweed but worry about wear and tear.
I think this one is very delicate and prone to color transfer, esp at the back.
For a daily bag, I would recommend Lesage tweed, I bought one this year and the tweed is totally different and I don't worry as much about wear and tear.
In your case, I would definitely wait, your tweed bag will come.

Fyi, this is my mini from 23S:

I’ve seen same bag on FP for 6610$ waiting for discount price. If you don’t mind me sharing the retail price of this bag and wear tear of this particular tweed? Thanks in advance:smile:
Hi! So sorry it took me so long to respond but I knew I had to dig for the receipt. So it’s a 23A bag and I paid 5850 CDN for it in June, 2023. NO7C NO264. I hope you find it!
