The authentication # starts with a low 10, so 2005/06? The seller said that it was from one of the Chanel shows here in NYC. There is literally no wear on it at all. Thank you for the insipiration!

Wow, you're lucky to get it then! One of mine is a sample and still has the tag saying "sample" when I got it! 05/06 is about right. If I find a picture of the jacket, I will show you. Tweed flaps are so pretty and unique to Chanel!!!

I'm surprised the tweed flaps aren't more popular with PFers because they're SO GORGEOUS! I just love them. Thanks for sharing your beautiful collection.

I think it was quite popular between 2003 ~ 2006 and then 2.55/reissue just takes over the popular crown.

And sometimes, it's difficult to justify buying a fabric bag with so much money when one could get a very nice leather bag. A shame but hey, I am still collecting them!
