Ever find yourself absentmindedly humming or singing TV theme songs?Today, I was singing the theme to Mr. Belvedere.

For the heck of it, did an internet search and I found TV Land's TV Theme Song Player:

My husband was on this kick a few months back constantly singing the Different Strokes theme song.
Drove me crazy. The controversy
we had going was whether or not the song said "nothing but their genes?" or "nothing but their jeans".
I know OT....carry on.

It always amazed me that in the US you have such great TV Theme Tunes. In the UK they are sooooo boring they don't make you want to watch the show.

I always remember Dallas and how catchy it was and upbeat - unlike our own Coronation Street which nearly sent you to sleep before the show even began.

Now you have great tunes again like the CSI ones etc.

Strange I know but my favourite at the moment is Power Rangers Mystic Force. Probably because I hear it all the time as my son is Power Ranger mad at the moment but its really catchy and I find myself singing it all the time.

I know there are no lyrics but sometimes I just start "singing" the theme to Law and Order! I love that show.
