So I just noticed that on the USA site, they just put up the Turquoise Alhambra Secret Pendant Watch. In the mod shots they also show the 5 motif alternating turquoise and pave bracelet.
On this forum, I have heard of people being offered this only in private rooms, etc. so that few people know about it, yet here it is in its glory on the website. It’s not showing for sale but I am wondering if something is in the works?
I personally LOVE the bracelet but am not remotely close to VIP level to be offered it. Fingers crossed they start selling to everyone. Has anyone heard anything?

The secret pendant is not new - it was always on the website, still very hard to get though. Regarding bracelet - I am 99.99999% sure they will not start selling it to mass market. Each boutique gets 2/3 sets per year.

I’m going to reply to my own post for those interested because I reached out to my SA to ask about the bracelet. She says that while they are not informed about upcoming launches, she highly doubts that bracelet would become available because there is a scarcity of vein-less turquoise.

The highest qualities of Persian turquoise are very clean and hard enough to not require stabilization. Stabilization (Zachery process) is the norm for all modern turquoise.

Sleeping beauty was known for colour. And the material had little matrix. Softer than the old Persian stuff, but blue and clean. Once Sleeping Beauty closed Kingman took over the market - material is greener and less clean in general. Cheaper though! (Well, outside of the greenest specimens which command a rarity pricepoint).

Getting enough clean turquoise for Alhambra slabs wouldn't be a big deal. Especially since VCA doesn't reveal or assess any premium by origin. But my 2c: if the company made turquoise Alhambra generally accessible... The market - their customer base - would upend itself; much more profitable to retain the prestige of scarcity.

They're probably also future-proofing - at some point Kingman and the other active mines will run dry too, and VCA will still be responsible for replacements in older damaged pieces. I can imagine Alhambra being a more problematic future proposition than other lines just due to popularity and quantity...

Also, to add, turquoise is used a lot in VCA's high jewelry collections, mostly as accents but sometimes as central stones. And high jewelry fetches way, way more profit than Alhambra or any of the fine jewelry collections, even with global volume.

So even if VCA has stock to make more Alhambra pieces, they are reserving it for high jewelry.

Ann’s has a 5 motif bracelet for 17k. They have had it for a while.
