In my opinion, Rhino and Hair transplant > Turkey
Facial surgeries (Expect rhino) and maybe breast, lipo? > S.Korea
Cuz I think Turkey is better at making tiny noses compares to S.Korea. Instead S.Korea is good at slim face and body surgeries.
What if you have an Asian style of nose? I have a giant implant that I need relived. I naturally have a flat bridge, and retracted collumella. the previous MD put in a collumella graft, that seems twisted to the side, and I giant bridge graft. I feel like I look ridiculous and need both removed.

Hi! For plastic surgery, it seems like people typically go to either Turkey or Korea. Which one would you choose and why?
I chose Korea. It's quite near my country, and I feel like the medical skills there are better. Actually, I'm Asian also.

I've chosen to get my surgery in Seoul. a friend of mine get her surgeries which face lift and breast fg, and the result was amazing!
I decided to get my surgery at the same clinic as my friend, since she had facial contouring done in Korea and it went really well.

Not sure where I want to go.. I’m African American and we are more prone to scarring due to having thicker skin. I don’t want any grafting, any implants, just tip and alarplasty. I already have a high bridge and only a very slight hump which I’m ok with because I want it as natural as possible.

Only apprehension with each country is that 90% of Turkish doctors are doing the tiny ski slope noses which i hate and wouldn’t look right on me at all. Korean doctors, from what I’ve seen, give black clients a muppet looking nose due to their lack of practice on them. Both would end up making me look like I got work one

Would I have my best chances of just going to a Korean/Turkish doctor in the states? I would end up paying probably close to the same amount considering flight and accommodation expenses anyways. If anyone has any natural looking surgeons in America please comment them with their socials or something TIA
To be honest, I actually find those small, upturned noses that Turkish surgeons often do kind of cute. But it's just not my style, I prefer a more natural-looking nose, which is why I chose Korea. I'm sure some Korean surgeons have experience operating on African American patients too.

@babycatlady I work in the medical tourism industry here in Korea. I think that Korea is more expensive, but safer, and better results. For nose work, you need to choose a surgeon that specializes in that surgery. Many doctors say they 'do everything' - and while they do, obviously some are better than others with certain things like eyes, nose, breast, etc.

If you want to learn more and if you want to explore more in Korea, you can send me a message and I can give you some advice or help with clinics in Korea!

A woman I met in Seoul had her rhinoplasty done in Turkey, and her nose looked beautiful. It had a slightly cute vibe to it as well. I think what’s great about getting it done in Korea is that it feels safe, and the doctors really try to match the shape you want, so you can look forward to the results.
