Trying to decide on a small black bag

Hi everyone!

I am trying to decide on a small black bag that will go with everything and go day to night. Initially I was thinking the gucci marmont camera bag or the Chloe drew in black but I am unsure of which one.
Also if there are any other ideas I would be greatful! I’d like it keep it less that or around the £1000 mark.

Gucci. My vote is based completely on my preferred method of the opening. I much prefer zip top than flap.

Chloe Drew. I find the Chloe Drew to be a beautiful bag that can be worn dressy as well as casual. Good for dressy evenings out but also looks good with jeans. I find the Gucci to be much more casual so suited well to jeans and other casual outfits but not so suited for more dressy events. I also find the Gucci to be a bit more trendy with the big GGs. The Drew looks more understated and elegant.

Lol. Now I'll always think the same! I'm not a fan of huge logo either. But the other bag looks like to much work to get into every time. I like easy access to my bag's contents.

Thanks everyone for there vote and input! Chloe’s winning only by a little bit, I am drawn towards the Chloe more only because I’m hesitant big logos will not be suitable for all occasions. But I do still love gucci

It is maybe obvious, but if you like Gucci and a zip camera bag, have you not considered the Soho Disco? I know it does have a big logo, but it is not flashy like the Marmont and in the black it somehow becomes rather part of the texture. It is not an evening bag but versatile enough, extremely practical, and in terms of price/quality ratio it’s hard to beat.

Gucci! I think it looks very classic, it won't date, and you'll be able to wear it anywhere. I'm not at all keen on the clunky hardware Chloe are using on a lot of their bags at the moment

I do like the soho bag but find it a bit boring in the black colour, the other colours are lovely but I already have bags in other colours I’m looking for a day to evening black bag.
