I agree - compared with the mess that was last season, they did a much, much better job.
The writer says before they had too many characters with separate storylines. He says now even though they've added new characters they are all apart of the same fewer storylines so they were still able to streamline. We'll see though.

HBO announced today that True Blood will end its run after seven seasons in 2014.
The final 10 episodes will air next summer.

As much as I love True Blood, I think it is time. Sadly, most of the shows I am into seem to be down to their last season or 2.
I do too. I hope they give us a fitting ending and a good final season, rather than the WTF of Season 6. *crosses fingers and toes*

I like all of these! Eric deserves better than Sookie, though I'd feel more of a sense of closure if she ended up with Bill, I agree the relationship hopping has gotten ridiculous.
