Hi ladies,
I am trying to list a couple of my personal Tiffany & Co. necklaces that I no longer wear on ebay and keep getting this message:

You can not submit your listing due to the following problems

Attention Seller:
Thank you for choosing eBay.

In order to help maintain a safe trading environment, selling limits are occasionally placed on accounts. To list this item, you will need to provide verifying information through PayPal. This higher level of verification is designed to help maintain safety in the marketplace and enhance buyer confidence and security.

I'm verified and my accounts are linked. This may be the wrong place to ask, but I thought maybe you Jewelry Box ladies might be familiar with this situation or have some insight. TIA.

ebay started doing this a year ago because of the huge lawsuit with louis vuitton. it has become more and more difficult to list a designer item if you have a low feedback score and/or if you haven't been on ebay for long.

it's a nightmare and they have placed limits on how many designer items you can now list. for instance, i know in the beginning, you could list one louis vuitton bag (or any designer item) in a 30 day period.

it has created a huge uproar at ebay, to the point that a lot of high power sellers have packed up and gone elsewhere. ebay has gone downhill since meg whitman retired and the new ceo took over.

believe me, if you head over to the ebay thread, you'll see what i mean.

email them and reiterate your positive feedback and authentic listings. specify taht you havent violated any rules and kick up a stink and they'll lift it for you.

Thats what I did :)

Hi,

I also had this problem when I first started listing Tiffany items for sale. Ebay will only allow you to post 1 or 2 Tiffany items in the first 30 days .You will be unable to list additional Tiffany or designer items until the transactions have been completed and you have received positive feedback for the items you sold.
Don't waste your time trying to get them to lift the restricitions, I can tell you form past experience that by the time Ebay gets back to you, your 30 days will have been done.
I love Tiffany, what were you trying to list?
